Allis Chalmers Not Starting

I have a 1967 Allis-Chalmers D-17 diesel. The tractor had been running fine. I recently went to start and nothing happened when I turned the key. I have replace the solenoid and voltage regulator, but still nothing when I turn the key. The battery and cable connections are clean. Any suggestions. Could it be the starting switch or starter? Any suggestions on how I would find out what is wrong?

Sounds like a bad switch but can't rule out faulty wiring or loose connections.
