I think i found the serial number for my tractor .. but i can"t find a listing for it ... CA 18560 ... can anyone help me?? .. thanks

Ket, the CA is a good and powerful little tractor, if it is in good shape. Made from 1950 thru 1958 there were 39499 of them. They had a 125 ci engine that made 26 hp at the belt and 23 at the drawbar. The CA's hand clutch is much different than the WD's but the end result is the same, tractor motion stops while pto and hydraulics continue to opperate. The snap coupler became available on the CA during the middle of it's run, but by now I think most have been converted to it. Now adding a 3 point conversion is an easy and popular choice. You ought to read Norm Swinfords books especially Allis-Chalmers Farm Equipment 1914-1985. And you can find manuals on Ebay and lots of other places.
