I have a AC 185 that has a busted torque tube. The housing between the engine and Transmision. I have located a couple of 180 parts tractors. are these tractors close enough to the same to work? Any help is appreciated. also 170 and 175 AC's are being considered. Please email me

Mike,
I'm not sure how this email notification deal works; hopefully, you'll get an email responce, but it should show up in the forum regardless.
Regarding the 180 substitute, my guess is that it would work. Someone else may be able to offer a more knowledgeable answer. It's probably the same housing used on my D17SerIV.
There's an ulterior motive for this response. I've been looking for an extra "stack" remote valve to fit this '66 D17SerIV.
Well, I've found the valve, but it doesnt have the lines going to the plate that holds the quick couplers.
The plate is bolted to the lift arm housing together with the top link mount.
The 2 lines I need are the ones that go to the left as viewed from the REAR of tractor. There's a short bulkhead adaptor for each line that goes through the plate, too.
If you end up buying the torque tube, could you also ask about these hydraulic lines, the control lever and link, or forward the names of the people that have them?
Thanks in advance, Gatz
