I have a sicklebar mower for my '39B. This came out of the brush when the tractor did about a year and a half a ago.... It looks to be all there (minus the wooden driver rod and wooden windrowing board). It has allis numbers on it so I assume that it's an Allis model. It looks to be a 6' blade that sticks off the right side, mid-section of the tractor. It's powered by the PTo shaft having a sheave and a belt set up that powers a rod running forward under the tractor.

Does anyone have any manuals on this? Sandy Lake can't get any of the manuals for those... If you have a manual at home, I would be willing to buy it or pay for a photo copy of it to get me going.... Also a parts manual for a 1x bottom, non-reversible plow would be cool... Sandy Lake has the owners manual for that but not the parts manual....

Thanks

I could make a copy and e-mail it or mail it to you.

I recently found the parts manual for Allis mowers (#3, #5, #7, B, C, IB, & WC) at a swapmeet. Now I'm looking for the operator's manual. This seems to be a pretty scarce item. If you want the B part of the parts manual, contact me every month or so until you flog it out of me. I'm too busy to work on it now, but with repeated reminders I'll eventually get around to scanning the thing to make copies.

First let's find out for sure which mower you have. Here's a website where you can see a couple of pictures Link
Does>Link your mower match either drawing? Once I know which of these is correct, if either is, I can copy the applicable pages and mail them to you. We'll have to figure out a way for you to get your address to me.

Drat! It seems the geezer had another senior moment. I put up the page, but forgot the pictures. Try it now.
