ok fellas , i took the pump off, and so far what i have found is that one of the rollers on one of the cam followers was all but gone. their are two others that have wore down probable a sixteenth to an eighth. one is perfect. so what i need to know know is with the rollers on the cam followers like they are , could that be my problem as to why the lift arms won't go down? i'm just guessing here. need a more experienced opinion.

i dont know which model you are working on, but he B,C,CA rollers often show some wear. this effects the pump capacity, but should not effect the raise or lwer. the cam is actual the "pump". sounds like you have something stuck or broken in the "valve" which is the springs, spool and chekc ball area--- sorry.
