I bought a d-15 based i-600 loader/backhoe. Rough shape, but it all works. Diesel engine runs excelent. Im new to tractors.
QUESTIONS:
1) It makes a grindy noise as the clutch slowly engages after you take your foot off the clutch pedal. Im thinking bad clutch...any thoughts?

2) Are clutch parts available, price, ect?

3) sometimes pops out of 1st going uphill if you dont hold it in gear. Im thinking worn forks. Other gears fine. Any info?

4) If I leave it as is and just use it do dig my foundation and sell, is it better to sell hoe, loader and tractor seperate. I paid $3800

Joseph;

If your I600 has the Shuttle Clutch it isn't good for anything but industrial use. The Shuttle Clutch lever was on the left side, whereas the Power Director was on the right side. I'd sell it complete as a backhoe. Sounds like you have serious trans problems there. Good luck.
