There was a message posted back in 1999 asking if anyone knew of any beachmaster tractors. I am curious if anyone knows of any of these tractors. Would also be interested in any info about these tractors in any scrap yards. I just found one and bought it. I would like to talk to anyone who may have one. Also looking for any sales literature on these tractors. There was a piece of literature on ebay several months ago but I missed it. Any info would be appreciated.

Beachmasters were a combination of a specialy equipped tractor pulling a PTO powered screener for cleaning public beaches. First ones were powered by D-19s later ones by 190s. They appear at shows now and then, more often just the tractor part and are reported to still be in use some places. Anybody who lives near NC Indiana may see a complete one at Norm Steinman's place in Bourbon. There are a couple tractors only in Ohio.

I had not heard of a beachmaster Allis Chalmers but after spending a few weeks several different years at Fort Myers beach, I would guess that it was used to rake and clean the sand of garbage that washes on shore.

Wasn't there some story here this year, using similar terminology regarding a tractor used on California beaches? Maybe involving a D21, or 200 (Landhandler) model?

A beachmaster sold on Ebay a while back. I seem to recall it went for an outrageous amount of money (at least to this mid-west boy).

There was a 190 Beachmaster on Ebay maybe in Feb? It was in Rehobeth Beach, Delaware and I don't think it met the minimum.
