plow for a WD and a CA

I have a pin type plow for a WD ,two bottom, and was wondering if it is the same plow for a CA tractor. The only thing that seems to need to be modified is the coupler on the end of the lift arm, is too small to fit the CA, anybody try this before? thanks

I saw your posting concerning the CA plow issue, and was wondering if you know anything about the hyd system on the CA. I have a 55 model, and can't seem to find litature on it. We have a Danco belly mower and my hyd cyls don't work, or at least I can't seem to get them too work. When I purchased the tractor, it needed a new clutch, and the seller stated the hyd wouldn't work till I replaced the clutch. I've done this and still have no hyd system.
One other person told me they thought it was an after market system, any ideas?

Bryan;

The WD plows were usually 14" or 16" bottoms, while the CA had 12" bottoms. A 2-12" plow is all a CA wants in clay if that is the tractor you need a plow for. The easiest thing to do is convert the tractor to Snap-Coupler, for you have a lot more choices of equipment, and they're a heck of a lot easier to hook up! Hope this helps.

If its like the one I have,Its alot heavier than the ca plow,and the lift arm brackets will not slide over the ca arms. It could be modified to work, but it is alot heavier. I dont know if it will over stress the hydralics or not? Good luck. Ed
