I am interested in getting a pull type bush hog for my allis b, will a 60" work fine ?

I don't know about that bush hog and a B. I've got a B that I use for mowing with a Woods L59 belly mower, and it does a great finish cut, even if gets a little tall, unless hit hills. On flat ground, can use 2nd gear. Once hit hills, lugs the heck out of the tractor, even in first gear. You may be ok on flat ground, but... My experience is that bush hogs are nice, B's are nice, but they don't match. Someone mentioned a 4'er? Maybe, but it sounds to me like you're not after a finish cut, and if that's the case, you're gonna be BUSH HOGGIN', and for that, you may want a little more tractor.

If all you are going to cut is grass and you do it every week, you'll be ok with a 5 footer. But if you skip a couple of weeks or want to cut something else the 5 footer will be more that your tractor can easily handle.

I would get a 4 foot. We got one for our CA, it went from lugging a 5 foot in first gear to handling a 4 foot in second gear.

I use a 5ft bushog with my 49wd,which you probably know is a little larger than a "B".It does ok ,but in heavy grass and brush it really has a load.

I would think that a 5' size would be a little too much for a B, unless you're just talking about a finishing mower for doing lawns. For heavy brush and thick weeds, 5' would be quite a load. We have 3 B's, but at this time they're still in the "tractor shed waiting room" so I'm not speaking from experience with the B's capabilities but rather from using 5' bushogs on other machines of 35HP and up. Knowing what I know from that experience, I would go 4' myself for any heavy cutting.
