i have a allis chalmers wd 45 diesel and the other day i noticed it was overheating around 230deg so i took out the thermostat. today alot of radiator colannt was coming out the over flow tube, but now when i have the cap of the radiator and i go to start it radiator fluid shoots 12 feet in the air. the oil has none whatsoever cooling fluid in it and the exhaust is prefectly normal, so im not leaning to a bad head gasket im puzzeled possibly this buda engine needs a thermostate hopefully ope some one has had a very similar problem and that they can help me thanks all.
