Loose steering draglink on C - how do I fix

Other than the obvious of buying a new steering draglink or finding a good used one, are there any other options? I thought I remembered a post on this site a couple years ago that talked about some type of "solder like" material that you heat up and melt into the ball socket and when it hardens, it tightens up the steering. I've searched the archives and can't seem to find that post.

If your talking about where I"m thinking.
If your ball is worn a simple craftsman can weld some and polish it up also the little disk cups can be purchased from Agco.

i've never heard of what you are talking about, but going on your desription i think what you are looking for may be called kerosafe, if i have the word correct, its used by gunsmiths to check bore dia.....it melts like lead
