How big of a grader blade is OK on a B? I'm thinking a 4' is about the max, but thats just my thought. I don't have a blade yet, but if I can get my hydraulics working OK and a 3pt conv. then I want to start shopping.

What's the recommended size? Is a 5' too heavy?

Thanks, Matt

a 5" blade would be ok for your b. it might work hard when your scraping alot, but the 5" will be ok. it will be wider than the tractor and a foot probally won"t make a lot of differance as far as hydraulic ability

5 foot is nice, it hangs past the tires a couple inches on each side. I have a old 6 ft that i used cause thats all i had. little heavy in the back and light in the front, but i have the hydraulics to lift it. in the snow and dirt, the extra weight helps it dig in a little instead of float on the top.

OK, if you guys say so. Sounds also like you're already doing it, without any bad effects. My main concern was the hydraulics being able to handle that much weight. TSC only gets 5' and larger blades in, so if I were to get a 4', I'd have to look around or order one from some place.

Thanks.
