Model B engine leak

I am doing some rehab on a 1939 B and not planning to do engine work, but there appears to be oil leaking from one of 3 ports on the right side of the engine.I assume these are frost plugs so would think it should be anti-freeze not oil. Is engine dismantle necessary to repair this leak and why am I seeing oil, not anti- freeze

No antifreeze behind those plugs. Behind those plugs you will find an internal cavity for oil to return to the pan at the front of the engine. This oil comes from the rocker arms being lubed and travels over the top of the head down around the push rods, and from the oil filter. As the oil travels toward the front of the engine the tappets are lubed. The link to pictures gives an idea of how it works. I have better pictures showing the oil flow in one of the albums. I will see if I can find them.

Hi John. What does your engine oil look like? Is it milky? Does your antifreeze look clean? This may give us a start as to where the oil is coming from. I am also from Ontario, and collect AC
