HELP! A friend of mine has an AC 180 that all of a sudden starting pumping hydraulic oil out from around the transmission gear shift lever. Pumps the hydraulic oil out through the transmission reservior until all hydraulic power is lost. Oil is white and foamy. He drained all the oil from both hydraulic and transmission side and refilled with new oil. Went back to the field and in about 30 minutes it started doing the same thing again. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Tell David F the problem is he has a leak inside the transmission lines to the rear lift or seals leaking in the rear lift. I think

It wouldn"t be the rear lift because the 180 has external rams, unlike the earlier D series tractors.
