Where do I find paint for a 1950 B? I am from Wisconsin.

the correct paint is PPG #60080. you can go to your local auto body repair shop and get it. you get what you pay for. automotive type paint with a hardener will be about $200 for 3 quarts of the paint, hardener and a couple quarts of primer. automotive paint will last for years and be bright and shinny. your tractor has not been painted for 50 years. if you spend the money now it wont need it again.----- -- if you get $25 can of enamel from Wal Mart it will cover the tractor and keep the rust off. It will fade in a few years, last a little longer if kept in the barn out of the sun light. dont hold a shine.---- again, you get what you pay for.

The original Persian orange #1 is not made any more. However, Ben Moore make an industrial Allis Chalmers that is pretty close. This is priced about 25$ a gallon. Another choice is Krylon "Farm and Impliment" Allis Chalmers orange # 1820 in spray cans. Dupont will also sell you a paint that is vastly over priced, that will work. Regards, Rich
