I purchased a overhaul gasket kit from Agro Allis to overhaul my 1946 WC. as I go along putting the thing back together I keep running into wrong gaskets, so far the rear main bearing seals have been wrong, the governor gasket is wrong, the exhaust manifold gaskets are wrong, and there was no gasket for the side plate that covers the valve pushrods.Has anyone else had any of these problems? MY DEALER SAYS IT IS A FIRST TIME FOR HIM,,HE THINKS THAT PERHAPS THE FELLOW AT THE FACTORY THAT ASSEMBLED THIS PARTICULAR SET WAS DRUNK.

DA PROBLEM IS, THAT I DIDNT KNOW I NEEDED ANOTHER GASKET SET BECAUSE I DIDNT REALIZE HOW MANY GASKETS IN THE SET WERE WRONG, NOW THERE IS A TOTAL OF 6 WRONG GASKETS AND 2 MISSING GASKETS, AND 4 TRIPS TO THE DEALER 15 MILES ONE WAY. I ALSO KNOW "STUFF HAPPENS" JUST AS I KNOW ITS EASY TO ADAPT A CAVALIER ATTITUDE WHEN ITS SOMEONE ELSES MISFORTUNE AND DOESNT AFFECT YOU PERSONALLY SO THANKS WD FOR YOUR CAREFULLY THOUGHT OUT AND CONCISE REPLY. IF I HAD TALKED TO YOU FIRST I AM SURE ALL WOULD HAVE GONE SWIMINGLY.
