Saw a model B today for sale.Mistook it for a Farmall Cub from a distance. It had a 3-point hitch on the back. Is this original? Anyway just thought I'd post this, first time I've seen one.
I generaly look for Farmalls.

JR,
The B is a good tough little tractor. I've got a '40 that's hand start (no electrics) and am looking for a belly mower for it. This is what they do best. Great estate tractor to mow or use on the farm to cultivate. If it runs clean and the sheet metal is straight get it. You won;t be sorry. I have Farmalls too and both brands have their niche.

Phil

I don't think the AC folks had factory 3 pt hitches until into the D-14/15/17 era, which came after the B's. The Allis is a solid little machine but a Farmall would probably be easier to get parts and implements for.

Haven't had much exposure to Allis Chalmers, grew up around Farmall... Lately I've been talking with some folks who do know them, and they are convinced the B is a really fine machine.

I believe that 3 point was not original. Good luck in your quest for Farmalls.
