WD-45 coil

My WD-45 has a coil that is a 6 volt but the tractor have a 12 volt battery and it run well with that. What do you guys think, does i am better witha 12 volt or a 6 volt coil

It makes absolutely no difference. You can run a 6 volt coil with an external resistor, or you can run a 12 volt coil with an included internal resistor. Same difference. The 12 volt installation will be a little cleaner, that's all.
