Allis 160 Rotary Mower (pull behind) Need Blades

I have what I have been told is an Allis 160 (model) pull behind rotary mower. The blades on it (I have taken them off) are as rounded off as they could possibly be so they pretty much push the grass down if it gets too thick. Is there somewhere I Can get replacement blades for this item? The blades are two seperate pieces which attach to either end of a double plate arm with a bolt and cotter pin.

It depends who made the mower for A-C. The early Danuser units were considered "brush cutters" and had a much stronger gearbox and heavier blades. The later LaPorte mowers were not as rugged. The frame angles on a Danuser were at 90-degrees to the deck....the LaPorte frame angles ran longitudinally. I have a 5' Snap-Coupler Danuser and had to replace the blades a few years back. I found mine at a TISCO dealer, but they aren't as heavy as the original blades. Take your tape measure to be sure the bolt hole diameter and blade length are correct. Most any tractor supply store will have them. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help - I called them and they said it's now no longer available - the 172 is still available though if anyone needs that.
