I just picked up a 44 C that is all original including teh decals. If you want, I could take some pictures of it and that should show you where they are. Mine has them on the side (wiring diagram) and top of the battery box (warning) , the hood (ALLIS CHALMERS), the model designation out front (C).

RYAN
IF YOUR C HAS A "C" MODEL DESIGNATOR ON IT THEN THE DECALS ARE NOT ORIGINAL. "B -C" DESIGNATORS DIDN'T COME INTO USE UNTIL ABOUT 52, AFTER THE PRODUCTION OF THE C HAD STOPPED. BOB

A lot of the older tractors did not have many decals on them, even though they are included in kits. Oftentimes, model designations were not used on the tractors. If you have the operator/owner manual, you can determine which decals were legitimate by looking at the pictures in the manual. WCs did not have the model on the tractor, and I don't think the C did either, but the B might have in some years. CA did, as well as the WD and WD45.

JMS, I do not have the owners/operators manual, I have the shop manual. Which I figured was a must have if one is going to do any major work to a tractor. I have found where most of the decals go so far.the ones I am not sure of are , " fill battery one" and The "Warning before dismounting ext...." I found that if I am going to use the model designation, that it goes in front of the bottom hood bolt 1/4 inch in front of seam. is this correct? Thanks everyone for all your help.
