i have a '42 C. i've seen C's and B's with orange, silver and black grills. witch color is right? pesonaly i like the looks of the tractor with a black grill. the wheel centers should be orange, but what about the rims them selfs? i've seen white and silver. any help your be much aprecated.

JK; All Bs & Cs had Persian Orange #1 grilles--the same color as the tractor. The front wheels are entirely orange--rim and all--on all of them. The orange and silver front wheels started with the D-Series tractors in 1957. I've seen Bs and Cs with orange rear rims, but they never came white! The first A-C tractors to have white (cream) wheels started in 1960 with the D15, and these had cream centers with silver rims.You can of course paint your C with a black grille and silver-trimmed front rims, but it will be incorrect.

Grill should be orange, front rims orange, rear
centers orange and the outer rim should be silver-
gray to appear like galvanized which is how they
came from the factory.
