WD Hand Clutch

The Hand Clutch Will Not Stay Engaged It Is Hard To Do Any Thing When You Have To Hold It In To Do Any Type of work. What Is The Problem ,And How do I Fix It? Any Help Would Be Appreciated Thank You!!

I don't know how to fix this, however there is linkage inside the clutch that goes "over center", that holds it engaged when the lever snaps back. This must be worn or not as it should be. To access it you ned to take the battery box off and the cover under it, then you can see the clutch and how it works. Maybe see what isn't happening. Maybe someone else will be able to tell you more.

You should not be using it that way- the friction plates will wear unnecessarily. You need to remove the battery box, top cover of the clutch, and adjust the shims in the clutch.
