I have several Allis-Chalmers B or C bellhousings from crank-start tractors. These are left over from electric start conversions. Are these worth anything other than scrap? Thanks. JimB

I bought one to use as a motor substitute so I could move the tractor around while the engine was worked on. Cut it off and mounted a plate so the front axle can be assembled to it (4 bolts). I used one that had been cracked around the implement mounting bolts, so it was scrap. Didn't want to spoil one that was still good. With the engine back in, I use it for a sort of stool. Both my original and the motor substitute were handcranked B's.

You can use them and a post grinder stand.
