A friend dropped off his 180 he just bought,The problem is after one pull the clutch won't release. After looking at it,he has one finger that's not even touching the throw-out bearing. My thoughts is something dropped between the plate and clutch.(flywheel bolt?)Never seeing a AC pressure plate is there something else that could cause one finger to hang. The pivot pin is still in place.I'd sure like to not have to split this one if possible. Thanks in advance.Dan

If its like the clutch in the 185 I just replaced, one of the adjusting bolts in the clutch fingers had come out. Also the tube that the throwout bearing slides on had come out of the trans bearing housing. Its not a hard tractor to split, the hood bolts will give you more problems than anything else.
