I need help once again, a friend of ours has a B-AC, he wants to know if or what mower he can use under his B, He wants to use it to mow his lawn, so I was thinking maybe a woods type, you know a rotary. I need some Ideas, please. Oh, I don't know if the B has Hyd's, that would add another problem wouldn't it. thanks Oly

I have a woods L59 on my B. It was with the tractor when I bought it. It does a fine job cutting my property. Make sure his B has pto with
pulley on back to run the mower belt. Woods are pricey but are well built and do a good job.

Well I restored a '39 B and got a new Woods L59 for it this spring. I was really impressed with the quailty. There is a bit of sheetmetal for the guards but the rest of it 1/4" and 1/2" plate with channel for parts of the attachment frame work. I think that it will last at least 20 years if I take care of it... The local dealer cut me a good deal and I got it for $1440 (with casters and anti-scalp roller). It took me the better part of a day to put it all together (it comes on a pallet and a huge box of parts) but it was worth it. Mine's a manual lift and is pretty easy to lift. Drop me an email for photos or if you have any questions....

Oly, I'm using a Woods. Send me your Email address, and I'll send you a couple of photos.

Ingersol makes one too, know a guy that has a similar Ingersol under his VAC.
