C spitting and sputtering

Was using the AC C this afternoon discing, started out running great then started spitting and sputtering. I was low on fuel so I refueled it, same results. Runs great with no load but whenever you start pulling is starts spitting and sputtering again. Any and all suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks

On fuel?? I would check the sediment bowl assembly for a partial clog. I took the sediment bowl out of a old gas tank a coupla week ago that the stand tube in the tank was full even with the top of the threads with fine rust. It still allowed a small amount of gas thru.

Rodger,
Could be a pile of little things, but I would check the spark plugs first. Ya might have one fouled or misfiring. If they're Champions, take em' out and throw them away and install a set of 295 Autolites. The points may be out of adjustment or need cleaning also. A couple things to start with....

You were right is was those darn Champion spark plugs. They had only been in about six months, what causes them to foul like that?
