TWO WEEKS AGO I POSTED A MESSAGE ASKING, "WHAT SHOULD I DO?" MY CLUB HAS A SHOW IN AUGUST AND THEY ARE PUTTING IT ON IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE "BUCKEYE ALLIS CLUB". SO THEY ARE FEATURING ALLIS-CHALMERS THIS YEAR. I HAD JUST FINISHED UP A 9N AND WAS VERY PROUD OF THE WAY IT TURNED OUT. I WANTED TO TAKE IT THIS YEAR BUT I HAD DONE A MODEL B TWO YEARS AGO AND IT TURNED OUT NICE ALSO. SO I COULDN'T MAKE UP MY MIND WHICH TO TAKE. KEEP IN MIND I CAN ONLY TAKE ONE, THAT'S ALL I CAN HAUL. WELL AFTER READING SOME OF THE ANSWERS, I DECIDED TO TAKE THE ALLIS. WE ARE HAVEING A ANTIQUE PULL AND I WANT TO SEE WHAT IT CAN DO. ONLY ONE TIRE IS LOADED SO I HAVE TO GET THE OTHER FILLED. WHAT I WORRY ABOUT IS KEEPING THE FRONT END DOWN. IF I LOAD IT UP WITH WEIGHTS I'LL END UP IN A HEAVIER CLASS. GOT ANY IDEAS. IF ANY OF YOU ARE IN OHIO AUG. 20, 21 AND 22 STOP IN AT THE TUSARAWAS COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS IN DOVER. THERE'LL BE PLENTY OF GAS AND STEAM TRACTORS.

Buck,

The only way I can think of to keep the front end down is to put a set of belly weights on the tractor. The front end will pop up on you if you dont put some kind of weights on the front end.

I am thinking that belly weights are the lightest of weights for Allis', if you are tring to keep the original look.

Hope this helps
ERIC
