My Allis B is missing/running rough. I put in new plugs and wires. One plug is wet when you take it out. Suggestions? Thanks

Is it wet with gas or oil? If oil, the rings are either worn out or possibly broken on that cylinder.
If it's gas, check for leaks around the intake manifold, both right above the carb and where the manifold bolts to the head. Also do a compression check. You could have a stuck valve, or even one that the rocker arm has jumped out of the pushrod. I had that happen on my RC, which uses the same engine as the later B.

disassemble and clean the carburetor. make sure the float level is right, and there is no hole in the float so it sinks.

Phil & Steve, thanks for your responses.
I ran the B ('39-w-magneto) today and it ran smooth, all plugs firing..... except it would only do this with the choke 3/4 open, if I would close the choke it would miss and would die.

Suggestions??? Thanks

choke on means you arre restricting the air inlet, trying to suck more fuel. --- analysis, you do not have enough fuel. check float level and restriction in the carb jets.

Did you mean , when you open the choke?.....if it dies when you open the choke, it would mean its running too lean....could be the carburator, or a loose intake/exhaust manifold or bad gasket....my guess is the intake gasket

Make sure your adjustments are correct. I had the same problem with my C played with the fuel air mixture. Runs fine now.
