Popping noise out the exhaust pipe

While running the AC "C" today, I noticed a Popping sound coming from the exhaust pipe. I could put my hand over the pipe and feel it and it felt like big puffs of air.

Is there something else wrong with my tractor? I havent noticed this on other ACs. It just sounds like it isnt suppose to be doing this.

Pull the rocker cover and check the valves. If the engine is missing, check the pushrods too. I had a couple jump out of the sockets on my RC, which uses the same engine as your C. Valves should be about 0.012 hot. Double check that number on the plate on the manifold, but I think that's right.

Eric,
Could be a couple tight valves, or just a misfiring spark plug. Check the point gap also..
