i bought rear wheels for this tractor the slide out kind. problem is the stops to keep wheel from sliding wount fit. they are 1 inch different than my old wheels. 5 an1 quarter verus 4 an1 quarter.do they make thinner stops. need help thank you bill.

im sorry on the rear wheels on the adjustable part of it theres a clamp two of them that keeps the wheel from going out any further from where you set them at my old ones had 5an 1quarter holes new ones are 4an 1quarter. cant get one clamp to fit because of being that they have different space size between the holes. do thet have different size clamps?

The only thing I can see is that for some reason, the hole spacings in the rails are wrong..

If that is the case..I would think that you will need to determine which one is correct for the normal wheel spacing, and re-drill the other to allow you to use the second one... Actually, you can get by with only using one, to hold the wheel from moving in a forward direction..( when in a forward gear ).. I have been short one, on my WD-45 for years..!! It is a good idea to always have the eccentrics turned as far as they will go ( to the right).. It may require some oil, but they should be turned all the way, and they will hold quite well..assuming you have the stop on the side to keep it from moving while in a forward gear.. I have never seen any alternative or different "stops" for these tractors..I suppose you could find something else to use, but I think I would drill another hole in the proper place.. It would need to be right, or you will have a problem with plow-settings.. Let us know what you see, and we will try to be of any help possible..!! Ron..

thanks Ron were on the same page. first off the holes are all 4an quarter inches apart.instead of 5an quarter. to drill a different hole i would come close to the old hole.im wondering if that would weaken the rail.whats got me the wheel and everything lines up. like i said i dont know the rims i got are after market or orginal.that was anther thing i was wondering if one stop is ok.your rt if you put stop in forward spot one should be enough.my estrancet all work good.
