Hi, I am looking at an Ib that I found in a salvage yard this weekend. I was walking through the yard looking for my next winter project when I noticed a B rear axle laying on the ground with the bull gears turned forward.. not knowing what I was looking at I moved on a little farther and found the front half of a B with a really wierd front axle and a,what I thought was home made, frame wraped around it. I went back and looked at the axle that I saw earlier and found the serial number IB1643... put 2 and 2 together and realized it was an industrial version of the B. I collect Ford tractors so I am really not familiar with these tractors but I believe I have been bitten by the AC bug. I was wonderin if anyone has any detailed pictures or info on these tractors to help me figure out what is there and what is missing. I will probably go and "visit" her tommorrow and take some pictures to post here if that will help yall tell me if I need to save her or let her rest in peace. Thanks, Dana

You want to get that junker. Even if it is junk the IB parts will make the junk worth more. If you can get it going and back in good condition it will be worth somewhat more than a standard B. These are rare, interesting, and neat. Maybe the junkyard will not know what it is and sell it to you for cheap. I don't know what a "basket case" IB, condition unknown, parts mising, is worth though. I would definately get it though if I could.
