AC 200 Engine Question

I have an AC 200, with a bad motor. I have a couple of good leads, but the distance involved makes the price out of my range. Does anyone know if the 301 non-turbo like used in the 180 or 190 will work? I am NOT going to actually use it for work, so I don't really need the extra oomph of the turbocharger.
The tractor is located in South Central Kentucky, and there were not a lot of AC's sold there.

Other differances would be the oil cooler as well as the front timing cover on the 2900. Also later 200's had the oil pump driven by the crank rather than the cam. The engine will bolt in however.
