Anyone have these torque specs for model c?

Im assembling my Model C engine and my manual seems to be lacking some critical torque specs.

I tried searching the archives but the search function is not working right now... so forgive me if im beating the dead horse.

Ive got the crank mains and rods all in and torqued.

Im curious about the flywheel and rocker arm assy torque specs. and any other crucial torque specs I may need tomorrow when trying to finish it up.

If you tell me what size the bolts are and whether the threads are course or fine, I can give you a torque value that'll be pretty close. I would assume that the bolts are grade 8 but if you see any markings in the top of the bolt head, let me know what they are.

The head of the bolt is thicker than a normal bolt head, it appears to be the original bolts.

5/8 grade 2 would be about 95ft/lb yes?

How about the rocker assy?

Sorry for being late getting back to you--we were working on our D17 most of the day and I took the kids (my helpers) out for dinner tonight. I see Bob provided a link to a torque chart, but as he said, that seems to be a fairly big bolt diameter. The chart refers to bolt diameter--not hex head size. And the grade of the flywheel bolt is likely a Grade 8, not a Grade 2. Keep in mind, the minimum quality you want to use for general structural work or say, bolting up implements, would be a grade 5. Engine bolts are generally grade 8 for head, flywheel rods and mains. Manifolds and sheet metal stuff might be grade 5, but I also seen grade 8 bolts on manifolds too. Also, the torque value is lowered (roughly 10%) when the threads are lubricated.

One more thing--the torque chart shows values for coarse thread bolts. Generally flywheel bolts are SAE fine thread. If so, they'll have a slightly different value--I believe a little higher. We'll be on the road all day (Sunday)--so wish you well. I'll check back late Sunday pm.

Eventually the Search function came up on the archives and I found some torque references for the flywheel bolts.

Yea I had a brain fart that was the head size not the bolt size.

Ive got it all back together, hopefully after some touch up painting I will have it running in a few days...
