What weight tranny oil for a 1939 B ?

Drained the tranny. Got Some old nasty loooking oil and alot of water. Put 20 Hyd back in it and have drove around some. Time to flush and put the right stuff back in. What weight oil goes back in ?

the first year or two used 80-90 wt, then they added teh hydraulic pump and it was too thick so they changed the B and C to 20 wt motor oil. THese days most tend to agree that trans -hydraulicl fluid is the best. you can get universal hytrans at the farm store or wal mart for $12 for a 8 quart pail. takes 7 quarts without the pump.

I also have a 39 B an it had a bunch of water too changed mine this spring an used 80-90 wt and I don't have a hyd system on mine

they say to use a good 20w or universal hydrolic oil. it needs the light wt oil cause of the hydrolic pump. should also be non foaming.
