How many horsepower does a gas d-19 put out? Anyone know? I can't believe the power it has and was just wondering...by the way anyone else have trouble with the governer, either full on or not at all? Thanks

Sounds like you have learned one of the best kept AC secrets; the D-19 has LOTS of HP for the money. But don't tell anyone, let them keep bidding $4000, $5000, $6000 for the D-17's while we take home a whole lot more tractor for $2000.

Exactly right, thats what we paid to the dollar and it was worth it, never seen a tractor run so smoothly.

As for the govenor, it is probably slipping on the shaft. Take it off and you can have a good weld shop silver solder back to the shaft. (Neighbor ran his like that for a few years until the problem was found)

Gas model puts out 63.91 drawbar, 71.54 pto. Diesel and LP versions are slightly less. 62/66 and 58/66.
