Where can I get a condenser and points for a WD with a MAGNETO? I looked under tractor parts, and there is a tuneup kit for, what appears to be, a distributor type but not for a magneto typ. Am I looking in the wrong place? There are also kits to convert to 12 volts. I dont want to do that. I just want points and a condenser only for this WD. Thanks in advance.

Forgot to add. You will need a 12 volt alternator or generator to charge the battery. Go with the Delco single wire alternator. Kits are available or try the local auto salvage yard.

Orscheln has the parts hanging on the wall for magnitos. Try the local autoparts store. I bought the points and condensor for a Fairbanks - Morse magnito from the local autoparts store.

Converting the starter to a 12 volt system is fairly simple. Install a 12 volt battery. If the tractor has lights change the bulbs to 12 volt.

Keep the magneto ignition.
