WD-45 HOLD POSITION

A friend has problems with the hold position creaping up or down. He has installed new O-rings, but this doesn't help. Any good suggestions?

Tell your friend to be sure that the lower adjustment screw, thats the one that is connected to the traction booster linkage reached from below the frame, is locked into the hole in the side of the pump. It is sometimes hard to locate this little hole, so that the linkage is not locked. This will cause erratic operation such as you described. Good Luck TED.
