I am restoring a 1957 D14. I was just wondering if I can rebuild my D14 with D15 series II Pistons and liners. The 14 and 15 had the same iron so I cant see any reason why this would not owrk. Any thoughts?

Series 1 and 2 D-15s did not use the same block. They are basicaly the same in a D-14 and series 1 D-15 149 CI and use the same kit but the block used in the series 2 D-15 160 CI is different and sleeves dont interchange.
