the correct hydraulic fluid in the early models i believe is sae30nondetergent motor oil.
but, you can use allis chalmers 821 power fluid or any standard tractor hydraulic oil.
remember that you have two places to check oil close to the gear shifter, one is on the right side sitting in the seat.
it is the transmission/differential and the other is on the left and forward of the transmission dipstick. it takes a wrench to remove and is easily
overlooked if youre not familiar with the tractor. and dont forget that you must check the final drives seperate from the rest of the fluids.
