Need to find a book on our 220AC. My dad passed away in September and he never through anything away but unfornately I can't find a book on this tractor. We have had it for a long time. When we farmed this is the one tractor that he kept. We farmed back in the 70's. It has been a great tractor. The only thing that my dad has ever had done to it is the clutch had to be fixed. We still use it now. We need a new heat gauge or a heat sending unit. I think it may come together not sure. I would still love to get a book on it. We have thought about trading it in on a smaller tractor because we are thinking about now disking any more and putting hay on our set aside land, but I don't know if I can part with her or not since she has been such a good tractor. Thanks for the help it is much appreciated

I would look on ebay if you are not in a great hurry. You can usually find manuals cheap(er), but not always. I bought a manual through a massey dealer and it was twelve bucks SH included. It was a reprint (copy) but ok. The price was a bit higher than the best you could expect on ebay. call the dealer, check his price then look on ebay so you dont get ripped too hard.

Today's Featured Article - Grain Threshing in the Early 40's - by Jerry D. Coleman. How many of you can sit there and say that you have plowed with a mule? Well I would say not many, but maybe a few. This story is about the day my Grandfather Brown (true name) decided along with my parents to purchase a new Ford tractor. It wasn't really new except to us. The year was about 1967 and my father found a good used Ford 601 tractor to use on the farm instead of "Bob", our old mule. Now my grandfather had had this mule since the mid 40's and he was getting some age on him. S ... [Read Article]
