Injection pump Timing on 7080

I have a 7080 my IT manual shows the timing for a tractor equiped with a Roostamaster pump mine has a model 100 Bosch. Does anyone have the specs for a 7080 with a Bosch pump. Thanks,Dave

Dave, I have never run into any 7000 series AC s that didn't have a roosa master DM-4 pump on them. Is this the original engine or could someone have replaced it with an 8000 series tractor engine? The 8000 series like the 8050 or 8070 did use a bosch injection pump. You may need to use 8070 specs.

HI guys,
I have an AC 7000 with the Roosamaster injection pump and we have now gone through the 4th injection pump due to the drive shaft of the injection pump breaking in half about midway through the pump housing. First the repairman thought it may have been from water splashing on the injection pump while we were out in the field using the tractor, then the next time we had the tractor in a position in which the frame might have been flexing and causing some kind of side load on the pump shaft since the mounting plate is also part of the front frame crossmember. Then when it broke again we found one front frame bolt missing and the other loose and we convinced maybe those two bolts were in that condition from the get-go, now, after replacing the bolt and tightening the other one, I put the newley rebuilt pump in and after running for a whole 3 minutes, the pump shaft sheered. NOW we are suspecting that a few years back when a mechanic rebuilt this engine, he did not properly align the front engine plate that the pump mounts to and consequently the gear mesh/play is too tight.
Any ideas on this and also what the gear mesh clearance should be?
