What's the HP? Is 4 cyc gas. Owner thinks was mnf in 1960.

Mine ia a 1948 rated at 18 hp and on the dyno it was a strong 18hp

I have a 1949 B that has been in my wifes family sense new, never been apart dynos at 23hp.

They built them from '37 to '57. the first few years they had a 116 cubic engin putting out about 15 hp. the latter ones were 125 cu/in with about 20 hp.

HP is more like 20 when runnign on gasoline. tractor weight is about 2500 pounds. dont seem like much HP, but the wieght to HP ratio is very good. strong little tractor.. get the serial number and we can give you more data. started building about 1938 and made for 20 years. try to get one with a hydraulic pump on the back if possible. not imperative, but is nice to have it.

I think the HP is around 14. Mines is a 1938 and that's what I think I saw for it. Later ones may be more. The production for Bs ceased in 1957, so it couldn't be a 1960. Thge ser# is stamped on the transmission case, in front of the shifter. Get the ser# and someone will be able to tell you what year it is. Rich
