I have a wd45 I want to use for pulling. Looking for any advice on preformance upgrades from small to the most extreme on tractor and engine. Or if somebody knows a good engine builder in Texas I can have it fully modified. I see alot of WC's pulling. Is there a drivetrain or gear ratio advantage with that model? Any advice would be helpfull. Thanks

Brock, I think the best thing to start with is a set of rules and build a tractor to fit, My wd had a turbo and 4b carb with alcohol topper backed up with nos. one thing to look for in the rules is if you can use a d-17 motor, it has a stronger crank. Go to some pulls and walk and talk around. Find a magazine for tractor pullers, or a web page. there was a magazine called hook I dont know if it is any more
