I have installed a ac 500 loader on my 190 xt. I know the ac 500 has a rresevior for a pump that is commonly mounted on the front of the engine but it has been redone and a 2 lever joy stick was put on it. I have it hooked up to the first two hydrylic ports on back of my tractor. How do I set my controls to allow me to only use my 2 levers. Any help would be appericated. Right know I have to move my control to the raise postion to get my joy stick to work then when I hit any lever on my joy stick it kicks the contol to nuetral. Also what does float mean on the control.

I used a valve that had a power beyond outlet port. I put it where the flow went form the pump to the new valve. The power beyond port is then plumbed to the inlet of the existing valve. A return line is also needed back to the resevoir.

The float position would be used on the boom cylinders- it lets the bucket float with the contour of the ground, rather than be held in a fixed position. Your joystick should be plumbed into a constant hydraulic oil supply, rather than a remote outlet. The return line needs to be plumbed back into the oil resevoir.
