HELLO EVERYONE AND THANKS FOR EVERYONES HELP! I'VE GOT ONE PART OF THE DOUBLE STUCK "B" FREE WHEEL'N AND TURNING EASY AS PIE. THE REAR WHEELS THAT IS.
I TOOK OFF THE PTO COVER AND EVERYTHING LOOK NEW AND CLEAN. I HAD ABOUT 1\2 INCH OF WIGGLE IN THE WHEEL BACK AND FORTH BUT THAT WAS IT. WITH THE WHEELS OFF THE GROUND I GOT SOMEONE TO WIGGLE THE WHEEL BACK AND FOURHT WHILE I LOOKED INTO THE WHOLE WHERE THE PTO USE TO GO AND EVERYTHING WAS TURNING BUT THE BIG SPIDER GEAR ON THE STUCK SIDE BUT I HAD THE SAME WIGGLE IN THAT SPIDER GEAR THAT WAS NOT TURNING AS I DID IN THE WHEEL ITSELF , ANYWAY I GOT HELP ON BOTH SIDES OF THE WHEEL FOR WIGGLE POWER. SO I GOT A GOOD PRY BAR ON THE SPIDER GEAR THAT WOULD NOT TURN AND GOT THE WIGGLE THING GOING ON AND TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT WAS EXACTLY STUCK BUT WITH ALL THAT WIGGLE POWER AND THE PRY BAR AND LOTS AND LOTS OF PB BLASTER IT STARTED MOVING AND NOW SPINS JUST FIND . THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE FOR YOUR TIME AND INFO.


NOW IT'S MOTOR TIME I'VE GOT THE HEAD OFF AND SOAKING THE PISTONS IN THE "BLASTER" AND IN THE BASE A MIX OF OIL AND DIESEL FUEL BUT DON'T REALLY HAVE NO WAY TO HELP TURN THE MOTOR BESIDES THE OLE WIGGLE POWER ON THE REAR WHEELS . ANYBODY GOT ANY IDELS? THANKS SCOTTY

Scotty try a hydraulic jack under the hand crank, just put enough presure on it to take a little of the tractors weight, it took a couple of days of spraying the blaster with the jack under it but it broke loose. Good luck, Mike

I busted one lose once by taking a two by four and a hammer and worked back and forth tapping the head of the pistons. Also shoot some penitrating oil down the holes where the lifter rods go to free up the tappets.

If it has elec. start take an split the engine from the bellhousing to get to the flywheel, they make a tool that hooks into the teeth of the flywheel so you can hold the flywheel when you torque the bolts to the crank an use a short cheeter pipe on the handle an apply pressure. I used a jack stand under the torque tube an a nylon lifting strap aronud the back of engine then use an engine lift or chain fall to split into.

IF your going to rebuild this engine can't you take off the rod caps an remove the liner an piston at the same time. Them take a hammer an brake the liner off the piston to save the wrist pin an rod. Just a thought.

THANKS RON, I HAVE THE HEAD AND BASE OFF . NOT HAVING MUCH LUCK SOAKING AND SMACKING THE PISTONS. ROCKING THE TRACTOR BACK AND FOURTH IN GEAR IS ABOUT THE ONLY WAY I HAVE TO HELP TURN THE MOTOR . IF I HAD A WAY TO HELP TURN THE CRANK SHAFT, IT MIGHT HELP THINGS ALONG. I WAS HOPEING TO GET HER FREE-UP WITHOUT KNOCKING THE PISTONS AND JUGS OUT BUT IT AIN'T LOOKING TO FAR OFF. THANK YOU.....

rocking rear wheels is a good way to go. if you have a starter motor, remove it and pry with a bar on the flywheel teeth.

THANKS STEVE, I HAVE THE HEAD AND BASE OFF BUT AIN'T HAVING MUCH LUCK KNOCKING THE PISTONS AND ROCKING THE TRACTOR IN GEAR. BUT IF I HAD A WAY TO HELP TURN THE CRANKSHAFT IT WOULD HELP ALOT. I WILL TAKE THE STARTER OFF AND TRY TO PINCH AND WEDGE ON THE FLYWHEEL BUT THE STARTER LOOKS IT'S SO FAR UP IN SIDE THE BELL HOUSING THAT I DON'T KNOW IF I CAN GET ANYTHING UP IN THERE TO PINCH BUT YOU CAN BET I'M GOING TO TRY IT... THANKS SCOTTY
