I have a '48 WD with a drawbar that is hard bolted where the snap coupler is usually mounted. Is this a "farm alteration" or were some WD's produced without the snap coupler assemblies. My tractor is straight "pull type and could not take any Mounted implements. This kind of makes the hydraulic arms useless! Figure AC180 on page 95 of the I&T Shop Manual shows a drawbar rigged like mine. What gives?

You could buy a snap coupler so that you could use
Allis tools. Or you could build a three point set
up to use the other solution. Most WD's are like yours.

there are implements (plows subsoiler etc.) made just for your tractor. they had a drawbar that mated with your arangement at the lateral pin.
