I was wondering if any body can shed some light on what color the front wheels and rear wheels are to be originally on a 1953 Allis Chalmers WD? It looks to me that the front should be all orange and the rear are silver on the out side part of the rim and orange in the center,is this the correct color? I have seen some with cream on the front and cream on the back and also cream on front and orange and silver on back. Please help as i have not been able to find the correct color for the wheels. THANK's P.S. this paint code on the left does'nt say for what year or model .

I bought my '52 WD from the original owners and the front wheels are cream. No sign of ever been repainted either.

You're right on the colors.. Some used cream after some D series had them- just 'cuz it looks cute. Like that yellow hood stripe I put on a JD B in 1962. Regarding persian colors- it's Persian Orange #1 until 1959, #2 from 1960-1977,Corporate Orange 1978-1985.

Mike, You've got it right. Orange on the front rims and rear center wheels and silver on the power adjust rims. Rick
