put in a new battery box mark the wires when took the old one out put new box in and hooked wires up now i have no spark and amp meter dont even move. what did i do wrong here?

Make sure the instrument panel, with the ampmeter and switch in it, has a good ground.

Farmer Gene is correct. There is a screw in the lower left corner of the instrument panel (box) that bonds it and the battery box. If your battery box in new, the paint may also prevent a satisfactory ground. Tom
