Unstyled WF questions?

We've begun the process of giving our old WF a new coat of paint. It is serial #1072 which we believe to be a 1938 model. I have seen other tractors and pictures which show WF's with black wheels, while most that I have seen are orange. Which would be correct? There is a layer of black paint on the rims, under about 3 coats of orange.
The large axle seals on the rear axle are leaking slightly, how hard are these to replace? Are the seals readily availble at my local dealer?
There are a couple of large dents in the top of the radiator. The top radiator tank is brass. Can I fill these dents with body filler and expect it to hold over many years?
My great grandfather bought this tractor new, and I want to do a decent job of restoring it to it's original condition. Thanks for your help.

The rear rims were purchased as a finnished product and no doubt were painted black at F&H for rust prevention. There has been lots of discussion about the proper wheel color in those years with eye witness reports of orange, black and belive it or not, green. No matter which color you paint them you some will say they are right, some wrong. I would (and do) use the color that is most pleasing. An improved version of the axle seal is availible from AGCO. They are a little spendy but seal very well. I would not putty the tank myself but it might hold. I took ours to a radiator shop and had them unsolder the top tank so I could knock the dents out properly then took it back for them to re-attach it. I think the bill was $20-30.
