Buying Advice re: the Allis Chalmers G tractor?

I am starting to look at some Allis Chalmers G tractors and am wondering if there are known issues that are worth looking out for? Were there, for instance, improvements made to these tractors during the years they were manufactured or was this model pretty stable right out of the first years. Were there options such as PTO that are worth seeking out or was everything standard?

The later models had hyraulic lift for the front and back tool bars. Otherwise pretty much the same. These are cultivating tractors and have been on the ground for a lot of hours expect front spindle bushing work if not done before you get it. The pto was side mount designed apperently for sickle bar mower use or other highway maintenance type of use. Don't expect too much of the pto. They are highly adaptable to many farmers needs and you may find one with "improvements" just be sure it is what you need. They are cute but really very good at putting the steel to the weeds and killing them dead. There is a small uptick in cost over other similiar aged cultivating tracts. Just something to keep in mind
